This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Accounting application ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by Awakening Academy, handles information when you connect it to your Intuit QuickBooks Online company.
When you authorize the App through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 flow, we access data from your QuickBooks Online company solely as needed to provide the App's features, which may include: company information, customers, vendors, employees, accounts, items, and financial transactions (invoices, bills, payments, journal entries, deposits, and similar records), along with financial reports such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
Accessed data is used only to display your accounting information back to you and to create or modify records in QuickBooks at your explicit direction. We do not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App.
The App runs locally under your control. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored on your own machine (in a local, non-public configuration file) and are used only to communicate with Intuit's APIs on your behalf. We do not transmit your tokens or financial data to any third party other than Intuit.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information. Data is exchanged only between the App and Intuit's QuickBooks Online APIs. We may disclose information if required by law.
You may revoke the App's access at any time from your Intuit account (Settings → Connected apps) or by deleting the App's local credentials. Revoking access immediately stops all data access.
We use Intuit's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization and HTTPS for all API communication. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
The App is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
